Afrobeats & Dancehall is a self-paced dance fitness class that focuses on building strength and endurance and celebrating culture by implementing various dances It combines mixed styles from Afrobeats, Salsa, lyrical, and contemporary dance movements. It focuses on building strength and endurance, bringing joyfulness, and celebrating culture through various dance styles. Let us sweat and vibe out with the rhythms of African, Jazz, and Caribbean musicality.
Showcases also contain classes taught by substitute instructors. Our in-studio schedule is kept up-to-date on upcoming classes that will be taught by a substitute.

Recommended Equipment for On-Demand Workouts (click to expand)
- Light Hand Weights (1-3 pounds) or water bottles, jars of food, bags of rice or beans. Used in Barre and Pilates formats.
- Heavy Hand Weights (4+ pounds) or gallon jugs of water, laundry soap jugs, grocery totes filled with cans, or paint cans. Used in Strength & Conditioning formats.
- Gliders or paper plates, micro fiber cloths, cardboard, or socks. Used in Barre. Also used in Strength & Conditioning formats like, Bootcamp, HIIT, Tabata.
- Pilates Ball or rolled towel bound with rubber bands. Used in Pilates.
- Bands or a long towel, robe ties, or bicycle tubes. Used in Barre and Yoga.
- Yoga Blocks or stack of books (large, encyclopedia size), a low chair or table, a rolled towel or pillow. Used in Yoga.
- Chair. Used for Barre and Yoga.
